Core Mission
The scholarship’s goal is to eliminate financial barriers and provide equal opportunities for youth to participate in sports like football, drill, and cheerleading. The program focuses on:
- Promoting inclusivity in sports participation
- Encouraging healthy lifestyles through physical activity and teamwork
- Developing leadership and character in young athletes
- Fostering community involvement by helping youth become positive role models
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age Range: Boys between 5-12 years old, and girls between 5-13 years old.
- Financial Need: Priority is given to those facing financial barriers.
- Academic Standing: Applicants should demonstrate a balance between academics and sports (report cards may be required).
Application Process
Applicants need to submit:
- Completed Application Form with personal and contact details. Form Link
- Report Card or academic record.
Applications will be reviewed, and award notifications will be sent by July 15th, 2025.
Scholarship Amount & Criteria
- The scholarship covers a percentage of the total program fees.
- Factors influencing the amount include:
- Number of athletes in the family
- Available program funding
- Volunteer hours
- Volunteer Hours: Families can increase their scholarship percentage by volunteering (e.g., helping with event planning, coaching, or field maintenance). A set number of volunteer hours can result in an increase in the scholarship.
One-Time Award
- The scholarship is a one-time award for the current season.
- Families must reapply each year if they need assistance for future seasons.
